Sustainability in Motion: A Guided Tour at TPA

Join the CREW Sustainability Council and Melissa Solberg , Senior Manager of Innovation at TPA, for an engaging, behind-the-scenes tour showcasing Tampa International Airport's commitment to sustainability, innovation, and resilience.

The tour begins at SkyCenter One, where participants will explore the building's LEED Platinum-certified features and learn how sustainable design is integrated into the airport's operations. We'll then visit the SkyCenter terrace for a unique runway overlook and photo opportunity before making our way to the Main Terminal.

Along the route, attendees will learn about TPA's renewable energy initiatives, including the airport's solar array at the Economy Parking Garage, which may be viewed up close or highlighted during the SkyConnect ride.

At the Main Terminal, the tour will feature several of TPA's signature amenities and projects, including public art installations, the Express Curbside lanes, a quick look at the future Airside D expansion, and a stop at Phoebe, TPA's airport ambassador.

The tour portion we will end with an exclusive visit to the Central Utility Plant (CUP), where participants will get an inside look at the advanced cooling systems, energy infrastructure, and building automation technology that help power one of the nation's most innovative airports.

The event will conclude with light apps, beverages, and networking at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Please park in the garage next to SkyCenter One.

We will meet at SkyCenter One's Board Room on the Fourth Floor. Enter the double doors on the left side of the front of the building, sign in if instructed, and gain entrance to the 4th floor.
