Member Spotlight: Amanda Bolli - A Special Ingredient Adding to AIC Architecture’s Success!

A Flavorful Growth Career Path
With a background in interior design and front lines experience in marketing, Amanda has forged a path to success through relationship building. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design and began her career in the furniture industry as a design and sales consultant. About nine years ago, she found her true passion cultivating business relationships in the architecture and interior design realm. She has been with AIC Architecture (AIC) for just over three years as their Marketing & Business Development Director.
A Place to Rise
When Amanda had the opportunity to join AIC’s team, she couldn’t say no! She loves her work atmosphere and has known some of the leaders of the company since she was an infant, so to say she was excited to join this award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural firm was an understatement. She now wears many hats at AIC – meeting with existing and potential clients, putting together proposals, keeping their website and marketing materials up to date, coordinating fun in-office activities, and representing the company at industry events.
One of her favorite current projects is the renovation of a former warehouse into a new dining concept for the owners of the beloved pizza shop, Santoro’s. Their original location was named for their firstborn, so it’s only fitting that this new restaurant is called “Giancarlo’s” in honor of their youngest son.
A CREW Member Seasoned to Lead
Amanda Bolli has made an impact on CREW Tampa Bay since officially joining last year in 2024. She attended numerous events as a non-member in the past, but has become much more active since making the transition to member! She is on the Members Only Committee where she is co-chair of the Book Club and is a frequent host of Lunch Arounds. She was recently appointed as a Chair of the Programs Committee, which coordinates engaging luncheons on relevant commercial real estate topics six times a year as well as plans the Summer Social & Mid-Year Recruitment Event. Amanda joined CREW as it is the best fit of the various industry organizations; she appreciates the variety of events throughout the year and the opportunity to get to know people on a more personal level.
The Kneading of CREW and Career
One of Amanda’s favorite things about her job is that she can solve problems while using her creativity and collaborating with her talented coworkers to bring projects to life. She likes how CREW puts her in front of her current and potential clients in a personable environment. With the business portfolio of AIC being based on 90% repeat customers and referrals, her role is keeping existing clients happy. Part of her secret to success is treating every client equally, whether they are a local mom-and-pop business or national corporation.
Made From Scratch: Tampa’s Growth
A Tampa native, Amanda has seen the city evolve – and she’s grown with it. She loves that despite its development; Tampa has held onto its strong sense of community. It is so interconnected - everyone you meet likely knows someone else that you know. This makes it easy to build both professional and personal relationships.
The Daily Dish: From Cheesecakes to Birthday Parties
When Amanda is not helping bring her clients’ visions to a physical reality, she enjoys putting her creativity to a more personal use. She pours her heart into planning memorable themed parties for her two young daughters and coordinating family Halloween costumes. She enjoys trying new recipes and baking – she has made a different flavor cheesecake every Easter for the past 18 years. She gives her all to everything she does to make every day special for those in her life.
A Spoonful of Sweetness/Secret Sauce
Amanda strives to make the world a kinder place and set a good example for her kids. She is motivated by a favorite proverb, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”
She is inspired by her own parents, whose work ethic, love for community, and respect for nature have shaped her into who she is today. She enjoys relaxing while reading historical fiction or visiting local parks with her husband and kids.
