Annual Sponsor Spotlight: FNF Family of Companies - FL Agency
In this month’s CREW Member Spotlight, we are highlighting one of our Diamond sponsors and three of their dedicated employees who volunteer precious time with CREW Tampa Bay.
Fidelity National Financial-Florida Agency (FNF-FL Agency) recently increased their commitment to CREW Tampa Bay by upgrading from a Platinum to a Diamond sponsorship in 2023. FNF-FL Agency, represented in Florida by Chicago Title, Fidelity National Title, and Commonwealth Land Title, is the largest group of title insurance underwriters in the United States. Through its network of high-quality agents, FNF issues more policies nationwide than any other title insurer. For commercial transactions, FNF offers big company resources, like national reach, unparalleled expertise, and financial strength; all with that small business feel of having relationships with local underwriters, focusing on responsive service, and knowing that closing and escrow services will be handled responsibly. FNF-FL’s agency operations in Tampa Bay provide exactly that: exceptional local service backed by the largest claims reserves in the industry.
FNF’s financial strength, claims-paying ability, along with an unwavering commitment to fighting fraud, have earned FNF national recognition as one of America’s most financially sound, best managed, and most admired companies. These attributes have earned FNF a 2022 Fortune 500 Ranking of #238--their highest to date! (https://fortune.com/company/fidelity-national-financial/fortune500/).
Catalina Perez, an Assistant Vice President & Agency Account Manager for Fidelity National Financial – Florida Agency, has been with FNF for over 20 years. Her clients are primarily title agencies and attorneys who represent and utilize her title insurance and related financial products. Catalina greatly enjoys supporting her clients and helping them grow and achieve their goals. She is also thankful for her career at FNF and says that women represent around 70% of company’s workforce and 40% of its executive leadership team. FNF fully supports career advancement for women in the industry and is fully committed to increasing these percentages. One of the organization’s new initiatives, FNF Women Inspire, a Mentorship Program exclusively for women pursuing leadership roles, was launched in 2020. Catalina was honored to be nominated and to have successfully completed the program in its first year.
Family is at the heart of Catalina’s world. She loves spending time with her husband and their two boys, Conor and Vincent. Catalina is thankful for the life she has and makes time to volunteer and give back to the community. She is a firm believer in gratitude and in “paying it forward.” Dr. Bryan K. Williams, a keynote speaker, consultant, and author, once said: “As you have been lifted…lift others. That is all.” Catalina fully embraces this quote.
Serving as a Chair of the Executive Council Committee for CREW, Catalina enjoys being involved with the WLP-CREW Tampa Bay Endowment Scholarship program as well as the CREW Mates mentoring program. Volunteering for these programs is very inspiring, and she loves giving back with time and training, along with raising funds to help lift up those who are in need.
